ENHANCED CARE MANAGEMENT

Enhanced Care Management is a benefit for Medi-Cal enrollees with complex health needs. 
WHO CAN PROVIDE ECM?
ECM providers must meet specific requirements and include licensed clinicians, community-based organizations, and specialty providers depending on the population served.
PAVE ENROLLMENT PATHWAYS FOR ECM
WHO MUST ENROLL AS ORP PROVIDERS?

Individual licensed clinicians providing ECM must enroll as Ordering, Referring, and Prescribing (ORP) providers, including:

  • Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW)
  • Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT)
  • Licensed Professional Clinical Counselors (LPCC)
  • Other licensed practitioners providing ECM services
  • Licensed Midwives
  • Nurse Practitioners
  • Physician Assistants
